a guy from my sec 1 class created the class blog and invited me to see it today. the skin was FANTASTIC, in my opinion, it's a skin of david beckham and it really looks damn cool. but i was thinking that it didn't really suit the theme of a class blog, but well, ultimately it's still up to them. i won't paste the url here since you have to be invited to see the blog anw.

it's tons better than the 1P'06 blog. though the 1P blog still brings back many fond memories. i couldn't help but check out the 1P blog again. 1P Perfected... i still remember how long we took to think of a good slogan. i remember we had 1P Power, but in the end, Perfected was still the best. and someone found the "purely perfection" blogskin in the end. so well, everything fitted nicely.

reading the blog, i couldn't help thinking about my 2 years in 1P and 2P. i remember how i was like so new to the rafflesian surroundings but yet still so excited about my new class, and how i got to know each and everyone of the 2P people, how the PSLs were extraordinary buddies to me, how i had a great orientation camp and how i led 2 fulfilling years in 1P/2P.
i remember myself setting up the mail-list, and then after that someone told me that a phone number list would be more useful haha. i remember how i used to love dabbling in the html and change the colour of the links, the fanciful title, layout etc. and while i was scrolling down, reading the posts, i realised how different we were last time. everything just came back to me, really nice and sweet memories. preparing for class gathering at giff/yelin/my house, preparing for downtown east chalet stay...

looking at the algernon post, i remembered our pet hamster, Algy. how we got it, how much trouble we spent taking care of it, and how it eventually died and we had to bury it in the science garden. how it was such a telling symbol of our class spirit, the 1P Perfected spirit within us.
man, 1P/2P times were great.

i saw the pictures of our time in orientation camp too. saw pics of kiaboon, yelin and the other psls in the pics too. and why did we look so small?? (have we really grown that much?) lol and i see chin jie dressed up as the maori warrior (HIRINGA!), the walk of initiation, at rjc, tying our ties (LOL! remember how much we struggled!).

i remember posting a video on kiaboon solving rubik's cube in like a flash. haha and my sec 1 doesn't believe kiaboon's my psl and that kiaboon really was that fast with the cube. and now i'm already a psl of a sec 1 class, it's been three years, i realised that, back then, we seemed so much like the sec 1s now. and that we've grown and matured and changed. but the fond memories never fade. and the blog is physical proof. we shared fun memorable times and i'm sure they'll remain a part of our memories, even after we leave RI. it seems to stand out so much, and now i'm glad that i've taken on the psls' role and am guiding the sec ones. i can look at them now, and witness how i actually transformed into the person i am today. i'm pretty sure, three years ahead, when they look back at their class blog, they'll share the same sentiments as i do.

sec 1 and 2 was real fun. 1P/2P was the best. i won't ever forget the great memories of this class. 1P Perfected =)
