DMP day 3!!

today was fun. more fun than i expected. first period was nanotech at the chem lab. experiments time!! yea i grouped up with ervin and ben nah. the two smp pros. anw, we were supposed to do two experiments, but well, we only did one because of the lack of time. so, we did this ferrofluid experiment. i STILL dont really get how this is related to nanotech, but well.. it was fun doing this experiment. apparently this ferrofluid is a liquid magnet and once its on your shirt, its a permanent stain. honestly, i think the whole class wasnt really well organised, cause everyone was unsure of what to do and there's only one teacher. so we took lots of time just for a few procedures. and i found out the chem lab in our school has some really strong magnets! was quite funny actually. (because we need the magnets to attract the ferrofluid to drain off the excess ammonia etc), so mr jason tan had to keep getting stronger and stronger magnets. in the end, ksp came (our saviour?) and he got this imba magnet. too bad we didnt have enough time to properly complete the experiment, and we apparently used the wrong solvent. we were supposed to use some tetra-**** thing (XD) but then we used water instead. so we ended up with this weird black solution in a test tube, which we brought home. we spent quite a long time on this experiment, so no time for the gold nano-sized particles experiments sian. hope we do it the nxt lesson.

anw was rather late and had to chiong all the way up 6 floors for financial literacy. first lesson of financial literacy! its an external module, so it felt kinda better. anw, i thought the content was really good and useful, learning all about finance. really very useful course. i'd recommend it to anyone. 30 bucks. really worth it. and surprisingly, i saw sheng wei! **theidiotwhocausedplimtoscoldmebecausehedidntsignupforfinancialliteracywhenhepaidforit**

free period after that! wanted to find ben but just didnt have enough time during recess. sian. so went off to play table tennis with daniel and sher yin (is that how u spell his name? O.O) and eventually played with ervin. CLE after that, i swear mr law's getting more and more creative... NEGATIVE FORCES!! lol.
