DMP day 1!!

woke up at 8.50 lol. yea monday normal school day wake up at 8.50 :P chionged to school abit because i was slightly late for first lesson. first lesson was at 9.30. anw went up to 7th floor and realised i was early! XD anw first period was Mental Skills Training for Athletic Performance. teacher is mr quek. quite interesting really. BUT had to buy this textbook thing for 10 bucks. yep thats the only bad part about it. apart from the fact that the room's a little too cold. if i remember correctly, the people i know who's in the same class are... wzy, jiaxuan, manfred, justin, kieran and a few others. anw learnt how to set goals and stuff like mental preparation etc.
i think i still like this module the most up to this point

second module was chem on nanotechnology. this one is really interesting, but we didn't have much of hands-on experiments today. nxt lesson will have though, since nxt lesson's in the lab :) heard we're making nano-sized stuff or something. anw for this lesson, we just got a brief intro into nanotech and then some amazing facts on nano-tech. like scientists can make gold nano-sized bullets to inject into our body to kill cancer cells! and some other stuff. good intro to this module, i think its worth going for.

third module was bio. a closer look at life. I THOUGHT we were cutting frogs today, but not :( instead, we cut VEGETABLES. (DAMMIT) anw learnt a lot a lot of stuff on plant parts, esp the stem, and revised lots of stuff i learnt in primary school XD then we had to cut carrots and celeries into tiny thin slices to observe them under the microscope. ok we are around silver standard i guess XD (people who went to that module shuld know what i mean) this one was particularly interesting too, i thought the lesson had a very "free" feel to it, something that i think a lot of teachers fail to have in their lessons. it just made me feel good and interested.

(random but) overall rating of day 1: 8/10
fun!

after that was cca. it sucked. dont ask about it.
