USAIN BOLT WINS 100M FINALS AND SETS A NEW WORLD RECORD AGAIN!!
usain bolt, the fastest man on Earth. bolt totally OWNED the 100m with his new OR and WR of 9.69 secs.
his start wasn't exactly fantastic and he was lagging behind. but at around 60m, this crazy bloody imba guy accelerated past everyone and led convincingly. DID YOU SEE HOW HE SLACKED IN THE LAST 10-20 M? my god, if he had gone full speed throughout the race, i'm pretty sure he would have broken even 9.6 secs.
he was pounding his chests, and his arms were outstretched and he could literally walk to the finish line. AND he broke world record. how does he do that?? i bet one step from him is like 2-3 steps of us, considering his astounding height of 1.96 m. at the end of the race, he looked to his right, expecting to find challengers but it was empty.
all eyes on puma now, i believe. go usain bolt, the bolt of lightning. looking forward to see him breaking his own record again.
but among all this happiness and being awestruck at bolt, im emoing for powell. quite sad, i wanted him to win and i believe he's capable of winning. but sadly, people don't always perform when they need to. before the race, i could tell that powell was really very scared. haiz, too much pressure on him. his start was great, as usual but he gave up at around 50-60m. i was hoping that he would end up side by side with bolt, and bolt would be decided the winner with a photo finish. i really expected asafa to get 2nd. sad, why does he always screw up in big races? ah well, bolt was at his best and powell was not in good shape at all.
but well, asafa had his glorious moments already. bolt deserves to be in the spotlight now.
asafa powell still remains my favourite sprinter. usain bolt is my favourite sprinter too. so that's two favourite sprinters lol.

in any case, jamaica will own in 4 by 100 men's relay. usain bolt and asafa powell ftw!
