i'm back after a short short hiatus! and term 3 is finally over! the tiresome killer CCTs for the past few weeks and lotsa projects and impt stuff are all over! time for a good well-deserved break! :) everyone enjoy your sept hols too!
just a recap of what happened on friday (teacher's day celebrations).

firstly, HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY! -- to all teachers who have taught me. all of you have impacted me in a great way.

went to school just as normal in the morning, but had to rush abit because i had to give out the teacher's day presents. decided to put all the presents in the pigeon holes because i was really running out of time lol. anw, what i gave them was a small photo frame that looks like a TV. bought them at mini-toons and got a free gift too. (later you'll see who got the free gift XD)
i gave to most of my sec 1/sec 2 teachers and i think all of my sec 3 teachers except wang lao shi (well she's on maternity leave). i gave dr chionh hers last since she was the only HOD who taught me. anw was trying to insert the gift into her pigeon hole which was locked and the slot was so small, then i had lots of difficulty and it looked like i was trying to pry open her pigeon hole or something. then mr kenneth low came and said, "can't fit? next time must remember to take measurements!" LOL. so in the end, i went into dr chionh's room and gave her personally.

teachers' day celebrations was quite interesting this year. usual location in the hall where i can't see much because my class is at the back, but well, the activities this year were quite engaging. i think there was a silhouete quiz first, where silhouettes of teachers were shown and we guessed who they were. apparently, this year's theme for teachers' day is HEROES. (you know the popular TV series) then there were some activities where students pit themselves against teachers. most interesting one was the quiz -- HODs versus Students. pity dr chionh didnt go up. :P and i remember the most meaningful performance was by mr ali, the guy in the general office who has worked in RI for 23 years. so, he's retiring and that was his last day in RI! here's wishing mr ali good health!

stoned around for abit after celebrations and eventually went back to cat high, together with manfred, wu, jech and chin jie. found qiu lao shi and ms tu first. went out of the staffroom to see a table full of food and drinks and the person standing beside it, busy managing the food, none other than lin lao shi. looks like she prepared catered food for all of us because she knew we were all coming, she's really the most caring teacher i ever knew :) went upstairs to see mr wan, after not seeing him for 3 years! mr wan hasnt changed a bit, still the same as ever :) AND HE FORGOT MY NAME ZZZ. anw he remembered after awhile and was saying that zac and i had changed a lot since P6. after that, went down to play soccer against the sec 1s. sec 3s + sec 2s VS sec 1s. ok that seems unfair but there werent a lot of sec 3s and sec 2s so it was quite balanced. but we still pwned them :) and i finally broke my 1-year-old nike soccer shoe after i pumped the ball up into the sky XD hoping to get new shoes soon :) so, i had a great time in cat high, except for the fact that it was quite troublesome walking around with my spoiled shoes.

o ya, almost forgot. lets go back a little in time. after teachers' day celebrations ended, mr koh saw me and thanked me and wu for the gift. and he was asking, "thanks for the gift, but why your give me a pig?" lets just say the free gift i got from mini-toons was a massager in the shape of a pig :PP
