as the description says, 19th june was a mini amazing race. logistics planning was a killer though. i was like bloody loaded with stuff to do like few days before the race. anw, so for this activity, we had 10 children, so 3 groups with 3 leaders for each group. (3 sec 3s for each group seems like a lot? nah. seriously.) lets see, we had 3 groups.
group 1 -- me, wenda, wai choong
group 2 -- ernest, brandon, alvin
group 3 -- ryoji, alex, chevy
stationmasters - skai, zi jian, francis
children in my group were wayne, seng wee, keat wee and benjamin. went out for the amazing race and really had a lot a lot of fun! i really find service-learning meaningful, enriching and yet fun at the same time :D will definitely go back to volunteer :D this activity really had SO MANY things and im feeling sian to type them all out, gonna be damn damn long, so just have a look at the pics (please do not copy for your own use)
